This post was written for Trifecta’s weekend prompt, which was to write 33 non-fiction words using one of the following two-word phrases: “cheap flights”, “sandwiched in”, or “spectacularly clean”. I used two out of three: not bad. 🙂  Enjoy!

Law school exams:

Moments of zen-like flitting clarity sandwiched in with moments of bewildered terror.

Consider running away to Alaska to be a meteorologist (childhood dream).

No cheap flights to Alaska.

Oh well.

  1. My daughter is taking her finals this week too. One of the many things I don’t miss from college. Good luck.

    • Thanks, and good luck to your daughter as well. I think I’ll miss a lot of things when I graduate, but finals definitely won’t be one of them.

I love how this tells a little story 🙂 Wonderful piece!

  3. if you are a law student . . . you could always check into becoming a summer intern for the DA or PD . . . be careful which one you choose . . . don’t go to the “dark side” come to the DA’s office in Kenai. 🙂

  4. Now, who doesn’t want to run away in exam days! Sigh…But who does! 😉 Nice one there!

Ooooo. You decorated for Christmas! Looks like you’re stuck with the exams. 🙂

  6. Oh, but Alaska SO COLD.

    • Good point. I like winter theoretically, but I don’t like being out in it. Alaska might be problematic that way.

  7. Good luck!

I can recommend Alaska for a vacation, and in the Summer.
