No Strings. Ever.

by on November 29, 2013

For this weekend’s Trifecta prompt, we were supposed to do a 33-word free-write. I was inspired by a post from Suzanne at Apoplectic Apostrophes wrote. And so, I give you Pinocchio: Vampire Slayer.  🙂

“But…” Bunny Smithers squeaked. “You…”

“Just saved you from a vampire? You’re welcome.”

“You staked him! With your nose!”

“You’re a puppet! Puppets don’t stake vampires!”

“Tell it to the cricket.”

  1. Hah! Love it.
“Tell it to the cricket.” 😀

  2. Hahahahaha!!!! You fixed Disney!

  3. Hahaha! Love it. That Pinocchio is one bad-ass puppet. Thanks for the nod – I love that my post inspired you to write this! 😀

  4. Hahahahaha! At last, a more interesting use of the nose for Pinocchio!

  5. Haha! Brilliant. Pinocchio as crass hero, I like it.

  6. I liked it! The thoughts of such a beloved character will never be the same.

  8. Not sure who to be more scared of – the vampire or the puppet wit the stake nose!

  11. XD I honestly laughed out loud to this! “Tell it to the cricket.” Love it.
I think this could be a better story than Abe Lincoln: The Vampire Hunter (or whatever that movie was called).

  12. Heh heh. Thanks for linking up this weekend. Be sure to come back and vote for your favorites!

  13. Any time I need a laugh, kid, you’re always there for me 🙂
