Roar

by on March 6, 2014

This story was written for Trifecta’s weekly prompt. Enjoy!

Charlotte ran screaming. She should never have tried to worm the swamp’s location from the secret priesthood by playing Katy Perry at them till they relented. Cthulhu, it seemed, just hated modern pop.

  1. Hahaha, now she’s gonna hear him ROOOOAAAAARRRR

    • “I raised an Old One and I liked iii-it….”

      • Okay, that got a big laugh outta me, we should write a duet 😄

      • Yes, yes we should. The Cthulhu Katy Perry songbook.
        “Boom, boom, boom,
        You’ve just awakened Cthulhu-ooh-ooh,
        It’s always been underneath you-ooh-ooh,
And now it’s time to let it through,
        Baby, you’re an Ooold-One!
Come on and show ’em what you’ve done,
Make ’em all go “Aah! Aah! Aah!”
As you drive everyone mad, mad, mad…

Cthulhu and Katy Perry, eh? How can you go wrong?!?!?

Don’t know if you’ll see this in time to fix your link. Goes back to the Trifecta page.

  3. *hahahaha* This is hysterical. 🙂 Thanks for the belly laugh!

By the way, your link on Trifecta goes back to the Trifecta site, not here!

    • Thanks! I think I fixed it now, though one never knows. This is the second time I’ve done this too….eep.

  4. Ha! Fun stuff!
