Phaserellica saw the flashing lights in her mirror, and sighed. Lunar Man, she reflected bitterly, could fly. Did he worry about speeding tickets? No. She, on the other hand, was stuck with the Phasermobile and its turbo-rockets. Life was so not fair.

  1. Uh oh! Busted! Creative take on the prompt. Nice job!

    • Yes; Phaserellica fought the law, and the law won. 🙂 Thanks for the comment!

A day in the life of a harried superhero?…You have a genius for character names.

  3. Phaserellica and the Phasermobile? Nice. Love the snarky attitude I’ve come to expect from at least one of your characters 🙂 This is such a good little story – which I hope will grow into something more (unless I’ve missed a pre-existing Phaserellica series, in which case I look forward to reading it)!

  4. Cheer up, Phaserellica, being a superhero can’t be all bad.

    • This is true. You get to wear a nifty cape, for one thing. Unless you’re in the Edna Mode “no capes!” camp.

      • I was Edna for Halloween a few years back. I was way too tall to be believable though.

  5. Such a creative take on getting pulled over–I wonder how she handles it.
