“Sheila, dear, you look awful. Have you seen-”

“Yeah. Completely unhelpful. Didn’t give me meds or anything. Just blurted out something about aliens and time fractures and stuff, and then ran off.”

“Weird. Where did he go to medical school?”

“No idea.”

  1. Lol! Not the best kind of doctor to run into, true!

  2. The DOCTOR! Oh this was fun!

  3. Hahahaahaha!!! THE Doctor! Perfect! He would do that! (And a more apt question might be – when did he go to medical school?)

    • Well, I could have answered that question, but that would’ve required me to think of time as a strict progression of cause and effect, when actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it’s more like a big ball of wibby wobbly timey wimey stuff. 😉

  4. So clever, Michael! Even the “Sheila, darling” felt so British to me. Maybe that’s why I thought you were from there.

    • I have read a lot of British literature, not to mention seen a number of British television programs. It must have bled over.

  5. Hehe. Well “The Doctor” probably had to run off without explaining in detail. You never know what planet the Daleks are attacking next. 😉
